It must be spring, since Chihuly’s The Sun, is back in front of the Michal and Renata Hornstein Pavilion of the Montréal Museum of Fine Arts!
Prior to the start of Montréal’s rigorous winter, The Sun’s 1200 glass rays were placed in storage to protect them from the cold and the elements. The Sun has now retaken its position on view for everyone.
Acquisition of this artwork by the Museum was made possible through the exceptional support of a major donor and the generosity of Montrealers during a public fund-raising campaign.
