Artwork description
The mural “Light of a Hope” depicts a gargantuan figure with human features that have been deliberately distorted. This giant opens a spectrum in his gaze, revealing a field of flowers and a bright blue sky, contrasting with the rest of the darker work. This visual opening evokes the possibility of renewal, symbolizing hope for a better future in the heart of an urban landscape marked by social and environmental challenges. Ledda uses nature here as a metaphor for rebirth, creating a striking contrast with the urban setting to invite reflection on the future.
