

Each year, the Journées de la culture, organized by Culture pour tous, offer three days of free activities open to everyone, promoting access to arts and culture. The 2025 edition is no exception, featuring a rich and diverse program inviting you to rediscover Montréal through the lens of creativity.
On this occasion, Art public Montréal once again partners with the event and invites you to join two unique guided tours led by Mélanie Renaud, an art enthusiast and guide from Carpe Diem.

Guided Tour: Discovering Public Art in the Quartier des spectacles
In the heart of downtown, set out for a 1.5-hour walk through the Quartier des spectacles and its surroundings. Murals, permanent installations, and artistic interventions punctuate the urban landscape, showcasing Montréal’s cultural and creative vitality.
The tour begins at Esplanade Tranquille and ends at Parc Émilie-Gamelin, after a stroll filled with visual discoveries, anecdotes, and reflections on the role of public art in the city.

Guided Tour: Discovering Public Art in the Plateau-Mont-Royal
Enjoy a 2-hour guided walk through the Plateau-Mont-Royal, one of Montréal’s most iconic neighborhoods. Murals, sculptures, and artistic interventions reveal the history, identity, and creativity of this colorful and lively area.
The tour ends at the Musée des Hospitalières with a special visit to the historic chapel designed by architect Victor Bourgeau and the monastery garden, a peaceful oasis in the heart of the Plateau. An immersive experience blending heritage, art, and nature.

As part of the Journées de la culture 2025, under the theme “Culture is good for you”, Concordia University, in partnership with Art public Montréal, invites you on a unique thematic tour of its public art collection.
