From September 25 to 27, 2026, the Journées de la culture invite you to discover artistic creation in all its forms. This year, Art Public Montréal is offering four activities to explore different neighbourhoods across the city and take a fresh look at the artworks that shape our everyday surroundings.
Discover public art in downtown Montréal
Friday, September 25 | 5 to 7 p.m.
Join Mélanie Renaud, a guide with Carpe Diem and a public art enthusiast, for a two-hour walking tour through downtown Montréal. The route offers the chance to discover artworks that reflect the city’s history, identity and creativity.

Public art in the circus arts district
Sunday, September 27 | 1 to 3 p.m.
Head to Saint-Michel for a guided tour around TOHU. Discover several public artworks, as well as the recent murals transforming the pillars of Autoroute 40 into a true open-air gallery. A great way to explore the neighbourhood through its artistic heritage and new creations.

Public art and murals on the Plateau-Mont-Royal
Saturday, September 26 | 2 to 4 p.m.
In partnership with the Musée des Hospitalières de l’Hôtel-Dieu de Montréal, discover a selection of public artworks and murals throughout the Plateau-Mont-Royal. From Sherbrooke metro station to Carré Saint-Louis and along Prince-Arthur Street, this walking tour offers a chance to explore the neighbourhood’s history through the eyes of local artists.

New public art commissions at Concordia University
Friday, September 25 | 12 to 1 p.m.
In partnership with Concordia University, discover the latest additions to its public art collection during a guided tour at the Hall Building. The tour will highlight two new works by Charles Campbell and Jason Sikoak, exploring the diversity of the Concordia community and the power of visual art to bring people together.
