Jean-Charles Charuest
Born in Québec City in 1925, Jean-Charles Charuest had a long career as an interior designer for churches, working on more than 150. His sculptures of birds, carved from precious stones from Colorado and Arizona, have been exhibited several times throughout Québec.

Using the colours and materials of the ancient cities of Italy, the station celebrates Montréal’s Italian community. These whimsical bas-reliefs depict everyday scenes in nearby Jean-Talon Market.
