Born in Sainte-Luce-sur-Mer, Luce Pelletier lives and works in Montreal. She holds a master’s degree in art history and art creation from the Université de Montréal and taught for fifteen years at the Maison des métiers d’art de Québec. Creating ephemeral works in nature and permanent sculptures in public spaces, the artist explores the relationship between humans and their environment. She has created over 30 public artworks in Quebec.

Artwork description
At the treetop, leaves and fish follow the wind’s unifying dance. The work *Tourbillon* expresses the vitality of nature and its ecosystems, which connect all living beings. Luce Pelletier’s artistic creations seek to celebrate nature while reminding us of the fragile balance of the future that we are.
