Murfin

1993
Murfin (Linares, Spain, 1993) is a multidisciplinary artist whose work lies at the intersection of contemporary painting and the visual language of urban art. His practice combines an intense exploration of color with the construction of images that oscillate between figuration and abstraction, generating universes where the human, the animal, and the digital converge.
Since his beginnings in graffiti, Murfin has evolved toward a unique language characterized by fragmentation, dynamism, and the use of color as a structural element. His compositions, both large-format and studio pieces, present a constant tension between matter and light, tradition and technology, creating scenes that seem suspended between the physical and the virtual.
His work addresses issues related to identity, perception, and the transformation of the environment in the digital age, incorporating patterns, glitch effects, and three-dimensional resources that expand the visual narrative beyond the pictorial plane.
Murfin has developed projects in Europe and Asia, participating in international art fairs such as those in Hong Kong and Singapore, as well as in mural interventions and collaborations with brands and institutions. In parallel, her studio work consolidates a line of research focused on the evolution of color and its capacity to construct meaning, incorporating influences from Surrealism to shape her own universe where animals, fantastical creatures, and characters that fuse the impossible with the real coexist.
Murfin is positioning herself as one of the most singular emerging voices on the European scene, capable of moving coherently between public space and the gallery context.
