Ivan Binet
Ivan Binet has been a working photographer since 1992. He is well known for his work on the concept of landscape. His photographs have been exhibited on several occasions throughout the Province as well as abroad, more particularly in Colombia and Mexico. Ivan Binet is recipient of many awards, and his work has been singled out more than ten times within the context of the Government of Québec’s Art and Architecture 1% Integration Policy. The photographic works of Ivan Binet are featured in numerous public collections, namely those of the Musée des beaux-arts du Québec, the Montréal Museum of Fine Arts, and the Canadian Museum of Contemporary Photography in Ottawa, as well as the Loto-Québec Collection and that of Université Laval. In 2005, Ivan Binet was awarded the Prix Videre: the Prix d’excellence des Arts et de la culture de Québec.
