Barbara Claus
For over thirty years, my work revolves around questions such as representation, time, rituals, death, Here and Elsewhere transience and permanence. Philosophical, my journey explores the spaces of silence and the role of the sacred and the slowness in a world where everything seems to be accelerating. My installations invest places with drawing on the wall, words, film and artist books. I participated in over twenty five group shows and presented over twenty five solo exhibitions in Canada, Europe, Mexico, Argentina, China, Slovaquia, etc.
