Collectif Escargo
The Collectif Escargo, at the intersection of landscape architecture, public art, and design, explores the poetry of everyday life through an open and joyful approach. The collective aims to forge connections between elements with wonder, play, and imagination, addressing the universal need for connection among communities, stories, microscopic landscapes, vast universes, and living beings.
Comprising five members from diverse backgrounds, the collective brings essential synergy to each project, whether small interventions or large-scale developments. Since its inception, Collectif Escargo has won several competitions and received accolades in Quebec and abroad, including the AAPQ 2021 Excellence Awards in urban planning. Through inclusive designs sensitive to community needs, our practice seeks to unveil the poetry of places, creating spaces conducive to slowness, wonder, and contemplation.
