OSGEMEOS

Twin brothers Gustavo and Otavio Pandolfo, known together as the artistic duo OSGEMEOS, have worked together since their birth in 1974. Growing up in the streets of São Paulo, Brazil, they developed their creativity through art. With support from their family, and just as hip hop culture was taking up steam in Brazil, OSGEMEOS found a direct connection to their dynamic and magical world and a way to communicate with the public. Together they explored techniques of painting, drawing and sculpture, with the streets as their studio. They never stopped doing graffiti, but over the years the universe created by the duo expanded, becoming a unique language in constant evolution.

Today, having found national and international recognition, the artists use this visual language, improvisation, and playfulness, to create various projects worldwide. They have held numerous shows in museums and galleries in several countries such as Cuba, Chile, the United States of America, Italy, Spain, England, Germany, Lithuania and Japan. To understand the work of OSGEMEOS, it is necessary to allow reason to be replaced by the imaginary – walk through the doors, allowing ourselves to realize the subtleties in the world around us and to embark on an experience that exceeds the visual: to feel first and to understand later.
