Frédéric Palardy

Trained as a lawyer with a passion for art, Frédéric Palardy first worked in private practice, then as a lawyer for the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda. He then made a career change, holding the positions of Office Manager to the President and then Director of Business Development in a major Canadian company. Finally, in 2013, he became General Manager of Impatients, an organization he knows very well, having sat on its Board of Directors for five years.

Daniel Buren
I know this work by heart, so great is the artist and so strong is his presence. So simple at first glance, this work impresses with its movement and ephemeral nature. Every winter, it is removed from the landscape, as if in hibernation. And it's at this particular moment that we realize just how much we miss it.
Jaume Plensa
Anyone crossing the Champlain Bridge is bound to see Source. Standing at the edge of the city, powerful and luminous, this sculpture confirms the artistic and unique character of Montreal.
Michel De Broin
There are works of art that you can make your own, that become embedded in the environment as if they had always lived there. Such is the case with Dendrites, whose singular staircases offer passers-by a unique view of the city.
Michel Goulet
The poignancy of public art is that it's an integral part of the daily lives of those who encounter it. This installation is a crude embodiment of Montreal's authenticity. Alone and independent, its disparate chairs evoke the isolation often inherent in urbanity.
