Artwork description

Situated in Parc des Rapides, on Boulevard LaSalle, Communion is a tubular sculpture composed of two interwoven structures, one painted blue and the other painted red. Each structure is formed of four tubes attached by rings, evoking interdependence and communion among living beings and the close, sometimes complex relations that they maintain. The artwork offers a space to walk through and discover. The municipal collection includes two other sculptures by Jacques Carpentier, both made of painted steel.
