Artwork description

This mural is an ode to nature, biodiversity, and civic engagement. It depicts Montreal citizens and animals united in a march or demonstration for the preservation of the planet.
At the back of the procession, we see a raccoon holding an apple (perhaps found in the trash?), a child carrying a beehive, a woman affectionately holding her cat, a deer, and a crow waving a flag representing Earth — a subtle yet key element for understanding the scene.
Further ahead, a man struggles to hold back his hyperactive dog, surrounded by a crane in flight and a squirrel running on the ground. At the front of the march, a person with a megaphone holds an aquarium containing their fish. A clever fox, standing on two legs, tries to walk like a human, while a rabbit leads the procession.
The leaves in the background are swept up by the wind generated by the movement.
