Wanted! Art lovers who are cyclists!

By riding on the bicycle path through impressive landscapes, this route allows you to view artwork installed along the St-Lawrence River and the Rapides de Lachine. You will find pieces by such renowned artists as Ulysse Comtois, André Fournelle and Henry Saxe. Additional information about some of the pieces is provided on nearby signs.

To begin the tour, take the Jean Chevalier Street exit of Parc Angrignon and travel to Cégep André-Larendeau where you can appreciate works by Liliana Berezowsky and Éric Sauvé. Watch for it! You’ll find the piece by Éric Sauvé at the entrance to the Théâtre Desjardins.

Then, go to the St-Lawrence River waterfront to discover art by Jacques Bilodeau, Catherine Widgery, Jacques Carpentier, Georges Dyens and Alain Cadieux. You will also have a majestic view of the Rapides de Lachine.

Your tour ends at the grounds of the Lachine Museum, where you can explore a garden with 12 contemporary sculptures, an exposition of current art and an old fur trading post constructed in the 17th century. For the Museum’s hours of operation and programming: www.museedelachine.com
