Éco-quartier Villeray
Éco-quartier Villeray is a Ville de Montréal environmental program (in the Villeray-Saint-Michel-Parc-Extension borough) which has been sponsored by the Patro Le Prevost since 1997. The Éco-quartier team works with residents, merchants, organizations and institutions in the Villeray district with a goal of improving quality of life and the neighbourhood environment. Its principle activities focus on the “4Rs” (reduce, reuse, recycle and recover), cleanliness and neighbourhood greening. The program focuses on an approach centred on awareness-building, information, training and direct participation by residents.
