Maison symphonique de Montréal
La Maison symphonique de Montréal is a 2100-seat concert hall that meets the highest international standards for acoustics, stage design and architecture. It was designed to enhance all genres of acoustic music, from classical to jazz.
Montréal’s Maison symphonique is the home of the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal. You can also hear other ensembles such as the Orchestre Métropolitain, Les Violons du Roy chamber orchestra, I Musici de Montréal, the McGill Symphony Orchestra as well as concerts and recitals of the Société Pro Musica and the Concours Musical International de Montréal.
During your next visit to the Maison symphonique to attend a concert, you can also admire the work C’est sûrement des Québécois qui ont fait ça by the Québec City artists’ collective BGL, in collaboration with Boris Dempsey. Comprised of three giant spirals, this art is suspended from the ceiling of the Foyer Allegro (Corbeille level).
Enjoy the concert!
