Musées Montréal
The mission of Montréal Museums is to highlight Montréal’s museums by promoting their activities and defending their interests, as well as by developing communication, mutual aid and cooperation. The network they form is made up of a profusion and a large number of museums and institutions of various sizes and missions.
Montréal Museums is home to nearly 50 museums that are permanently established in the city. These museums are not only among the oldest cultural institutions in Montréal, but they are the only cultural institutions whose primary mission is to preserve objects, places, buildings and traditions that reflect Montréal’s cultural identity.
