Ville de Pointe-Claire
In 2012, the City of Pointe-Claire, located in Montreal’s West Island, established a public art policy to promote historically and culturally significant locations and to improve the existing municipal built environment by installing works by professional artists. The policy is administered by a public art committee which is responsible for identifying locations suitable for art in public spaces and for selecting art projects submitted as part of competitions. Four artworks and two murals were listed in the City in 2017.
