Société de transport de Montréal
The Société de transport de Montréal (STM) provides some 1.4 million trips per day in its métro and bus network. The Montréal métro is truly an art gallery: dozens of murals, stained glass panels and sculptures of all shapes and colours were installed in most of the network’s 68 stations, for the enjoyment and benefit of all métro riders. It is the STM’s responsibility to maintain, showcase and develop this collection, envied by several métro networks around the world.
