From the first time they were installed, in 2011, the collaborative musical artwork has become an unavoidable rendezvous for everyone who wants to play, have fun and be creative. Born of the idea of co-operation, the melodies created by the see-saw can only exist if participants take the time to listen to each other and coordinate their actions.<\/p>\n<p>For Melissa Mongiat et Mouna Andraos, co-creaters of Daily tous les jours, <em>21\u00a0Balan\u00e7oires<\/em> represents the future of our cities. The installation shows how we can live together, reclaim public space and create gathering places.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"21 Balan\u00e7oires (21 Swings)\" data-src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/40980676?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write\" src=\"about:blank\" class=\"lazyload\" data-load-mode=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Did you know?<\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #003300;\">&gt; The swings reproduce the sounds of four instruments: piano, guitar, vibraphone and harp. Each one corresponds to a swing of a different colour, while the height reached by the user determines the note played.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003300;\">&gt; Every day, each swing moves some 8,500\u00a0times.
