(Re)Découvrez le pont Jacques-Cartier par l’art urbain

Dans le cadre des Journées de la culture qui se tiendront le 30 septembre, 1 et 2 octobre, les Ponts Jacques Cartier et Champlain Incorporée invite les usagers à découvrir le pont Jacques-Cartier, une icône montréalaise, par l’art urbain.

La Société propose aux cyclistes, coureurs et marcheurs de découvrir un passage coloré sur le pont Jacques-Cartier. Le projet-pilote Veduta de l’artiste québécois Stéphane Leclerc vise à améliorer l’expérience des usagers du pont grâce à un parcours visuel dynamique et tout en couleurs. Cette œuvre d’art urbain vise à créer un espace attrayant en modulant visuellement l’espace à travers un parcours chromatique créé de bandes colorées appliquées à même les barotins de la piste multifonctionnelle s’étendant entre Montréal et Longueuil.

Les murales de l’organisme MU, signées par l’artiste montréalais Rafael Sottolichio, donnent au tunnel des allures de parcours dans le temps, grâce à une séquence de toiles imagées représentant une époque où la ville vibrait au rythme de ses plus grands chantiers.
