Jimmy Beaulieu is a comic book author originally from Île d’Orléans who has lived in Montreal since 1998.
He has published numerous books, including Rôles de composition (2016), Comédie sentimentale pornographique (2011), Non-aventures (2013), À la faveur de la nuit (2010), and Le temps des siestes (2012). He also founded the Mécanique générale collection in 2000 and the Colosse collection in 2002. Since 2002, he has been leading comic book workshops at Cégep du Vieux Montréal and Rosemont College.

Artwork description
The mural was created as part of the development of the new Zone Ado. It completes the transformation of the space by creating a warmer and more welcoming common area. The mural reflects the borough and its neighbourhoods by featuring some of its emblematic landmarks: the Beaubien Cinema, the Molson Park Kiosk, and the alleyways with their social life. It was created by comic artist Jimmy Beaulieu.
