The artist Marc Séguin signs a luminous work for the 375th anniversary of Montréal.
From December 11 until January 1, 2017, Montréal Lights Up to celebrate its 375th anniversary with the projection of Aurores montréales on Mount Royal. The mountain becomes the backdrop for extraordinary projections covering an area of more than 15,000 square meters. These immense, contemplative and moving luminous frescoes will entice spectators as much with their moonrise as with their aurora borealis and various other effects that are just as evocative. In addition, the poetry of Marie Uguay and Leonard Cohen will be projected on the mountain. This moving, beautiful, poetic and enticing lighting of Mount Royal will enrich the beauty of the mountain and bring a smile to your face.
Internationally renowned and considered one of Quebec’s leading contemporary artists, Séguin is partnering with the multimedia company 4U2C to offer a unique experience to Montrealers and Montréal lovers.
