Artwork description

The new mural at the intersection of Berri and Sherbrooke Streets is a vibrant addition to the “Passage des solidarités.” Located under the Berri viaduct, this work of art not only beautifies the space but also embodies the spirit of the many demonstrations that take place there each year. Muralist and illustrator Borrris has masterfully captured the diversity of social actors: from passionate activists to intrigued observers, and those who actively support social causes.

In addition to its visual impact, the mural uses mineral paint for the first time at MU, chosen for its environmental benefits and increased durability. This innovative technique contributes to the artwork’s longevity while adhering to ecological principles. It’s a beautiful way to merge art with environmental consciousness while celebrating solidarity and social change.
