Thaïla Khampo is a Montreal-based illustrator who works with patterns, mystery and caustic humour to create images that tell a story. In collaboration with the Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension (VSP) borough, the new mural titled “Les petits pieds,” created by artist Thaïla Khampo, is located on the chalet of Nicolas-Tillemont Park. This is the thirtieth mural by MU in the borough and the fourth park chalet enhanced in the VSP area.
The artwork draws inspiration from its surroundings and aims to celebrate the joy of children, as well as family and intergenerational bonds. The composition showcases various cultures to illustrate harmony and unity. The goal is to make this mural a visual attraction that invites interaction and friendliness, transforming the park chalet into a space for sharing and celebrating the community.
