Eric Wesselow was a member of the Royal Canadian Academy and president of the Quebec Society for Education through Art, a voluntary association founded in Quebec City in 1955, the only Canadian national organization that brings together art educators, gallery educators and others with similar interests and concerns.

Artwork description

This work, completed in 1960, was commissioned by Transport Canada for what was then called Dorval airport. For this work, the artist used a technique taht he had just developped and that would make him famous as stained-glass artist. Called Canada, it comprised ten panels, each illustrating a province.
