Gabrielle Laïla Tittley, also known as artist PONY, discovered her passion for drawing as a teenager. Since then, the thirty-something visual artist has come a long way, notably by founding the clothing brand that bears her name.
In a style typical of illustration, with flat tones of color, graphic lines and pure forms, the artist knows how to create a narrative around easily identifiable characters and elements. She has the ability to put messages and concepts into images in a colorful, playful and symbolic style that can be easily understood by everyone.

Artwork description
The Maison Bleue in Parc-Extension welcomes a new MU mural! This perinatal center helps pregnant women and their families living in vulnerable situations. In keeping with this mission, MU called on artist PONY (real name Gabrielle Laïla Tittley) to illustrate the organization’s inclusive and human dimensions. The mural illustrates the Maison Bleue as a landmark where families coexist and put down roots.
The work, entitled “WHERE FLOWERS COME TO BLOOM”, was reproduced on the wall by muralist Julien Sicre and the MU team. It highlights the women of La Maison Bleue through colorful characters, symbolizing the solidarity within this community. It depicts them as flowers taking root in a place that is gradually becoming their landmark in diversity.
