A member of several graffiti crews, he founded his own collective, with which he remained active for 5 years. He then pursued formal artistic training up to a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, graduating from the Condé design schools and the Faculty of Fine Arts of Bordeaux, where he refined his practices and artistic approach.A multidisciplinary artist, visual artist, painter, and muralist, he carries drawing, painting, and graffiti in his artistic DNA, though he has a particular affinity for exploring site-specific installations directly in the street. The human being is at the center of his artistic concerns, and more broadly, living beings, animated in his view by a particular spirituality. His overall approach relies as much on process as on outcome, but also on impact; as much on the spontaneous testimony of a reality as on the fruit of a poetic reflection wavering between eternity and instantaneity.
Artwork description
This artwork transforms the pillars of Highway 40 into a true outdoor art gallery in the heart of the Saint-Michel neighbourhood. Nineteen Montreal muralists created more than 40 colourful murals on the highway’s columns, sparking the revitalization of the area. This artistic gesture marks a strong visual milestone for the Circus Arts District and makes the space more welcoming for pedestrians and cyclists. Adding to this initiative is a citizen participation project: colourful paste-up collages, created by and for the Saint-Michel community as well as local paste-up artists, further enrich the route.
