Barbara Hepworth est une sculpteure d’origine anglaise, née à Wakefield, Yorkshire. Aux côtés de Henry Moore, elle étudie la sculpture au Leeds School of Art. Barbara Hepworth obtient une reconnaissance internationale pour ses œuvres sculpturales abstraites—une pratique artistique qu’elle a contribué à développer en Angleterre. Ici et ailleurs, elle est reconnue comme l’une des sculpteures les plus influentes de son temps.
