Y'a QuelQu'un l'aut'bord du mur

A collective created in 2003, Y’a quelqu’un l’aut’bord du mur! (YQQ) performs social and environmental interventions with the community in the Hochelaga-Maisonneuve district. The goal of these interventions is to offer residents collective, sustainable and environmental services. YQQ advocates values of improving residents’ quality of life, implementation of incentives for sustainable development, promotion of global and integrated management of community environmental services, and participation in the implementation of “green” actions within the larger Montréal community.

As a social economy enterprise, YQQ also advocates the training of young people from disadvantaged neighbourhoods: participants are young adults in the process of social and professional integration. YQQ offers them various activities aimed at developing skills and competencies linked to the environmental activities provided to the community.
